R. Buckminster Fuller was an American architect, systems theorist, designer, inventor, and futurist. An early environmental activist, he was very aware of the finite resources the planet has to offer. His quote about thinking globally and acting locally is not only the inspiration for this poster, but inspires us to do our work every day.
“If the success or failure of this Planet, and of Human Beings, depended on how I am and what I do; How would I be? What would I do?”
– R. Buckminster Fuller
The tree is called Lost Monarch. At 26′ diameter at breast height and 320′ tall, it is the largest known coast redwood, and has the greatest wood volume of its species. It is comparable in size to the General Sherman giant sequoia.
The poster is 24 x 36″, and is printed on 100% recycled (50% post-consumer) glossy paper using extra low VOC vegetable based inks. It is shipped in a 100% post-consumer recycled shipping tube.
