When the Detroit News visited, they saw the spark behind the Archangel mission and the incredible need for support.
Thanks to reporter Francis Donnelly for this fantastic report about Archangel David Milarch and his undying drive to convince the world he has a solution to one of the world’s most pressing environmental problems.
David Milarch believes he died and came back to life. And the reason was God had a mission for him. The mission was simple if grandiose: Clone the biggest trees and cover the world with them…(Milarch) remains ever hopeful that somewhere, somehow, someone will step forward to allow Archangel to keep the lights on. It’s the way of the group, he said.
David Milarch said, “Every day of my life is a walk of faith,” he said. “I don’t know how this all is going to end up. But nobody will be able to say we didn’t give everything we could.”

Being a big admirer of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive and a tree-planter all of my life may I just say that I hated this article. It makes your work come across as a religious crusade or gospel when that is a huge turn-off to many people.
I personally love the story of the near-death experience and encountered something similar in 1985. But this detracts from the much more important story of cloning, planting and tending trees.
I like to quote the last chapter of the Bible: “The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations” but usually don’t include that it’s from the Revelation of John 22:2 because I’ve noticed that scares people away.
Keep on keeping on your amazing accomplishments!
