Bequest Language
Here is an example of an unrestricted bequest provision, either stated as a percentage or specific sum:
___% of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, whether real, personal or mixed, of whatever character and wherever situated, including any lapsed bequest or devise, I give, devise, and bequeath to Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, Copemish, Michigan.
The following is an example of a restricted bequest provision, stated as a percentage or specific sum:
___% of the rest and residue of my estate of which I may die seized and possessed, real, personal or mixed, of whatsoever character and wherever situated, including a lapsed bequest or devise, I give, devise, and bequeath to (the specific purpose or program, i.e. scholarship, department, building, etc.) at Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, Copemish, Michigan.
