We’re honored to share that Smithsonian Magazine has featured Archangel Ancient Tree Archive in a recent article spotlighting our collaborative efforts with Arboretum Detroit. This initiative aims to plant a forest of giant sequoias in Detroit’s Poletown East neighborhood, transforming vacant lots into thriving urban green spaces.
The article details how saplings cloned from legendary trees like “Stagg” and “Waterfall” are being planted to combat pollution, provide shade, and inspire community stewardship. This project exemplifies how urban reforestation can address environmental challenges and revitalize communities.
