Musician and permaculture advocate David Sugalski, has created The Polish Ambassador. It may be difficult to fathom, but our David Milarch has been invited to speak at the Kalamazoo stop on this fascinating music and permaculture experience.
Champion Giant Sequoias Planted on Arbor Day 2014
University of Michigan students and faculty members have partnered with Chiwara permaculture and Archangel Ancient Tree Archive to plant twelve Giant sequoia clones from Champion old growth forest trees on the grounds of the Nichols Arboretum on Arbor Day 2014.
John Muir Sequoia Cloned by Archangel
Archangel has been tapped to propagate a tree planted in about 1898 by naturalist John Muir in order to save its genetics. The Giant Sequoia, like so many in the San Francisco Bay area, has been afflicted with a vascular fungus.
