NowThis Earth visited Archangel to explore our mission to clone the world’s oldest and largest trees that combat the overheating of our climate. This overheating threatens all life on Earth.
Archangel is featured on CNN’s first #CalltoEarth day, where groups around the globe are celebrated for their work to solve environmental problems.
CBS News recognizes the urgency of our work. They joined us last week on our Sequoia Crest expedition and reforestation effort to file this story.
Archangel team members Caryssa and Jesse left Copemish, Michigan, with some precious cargo for California: clones of 250 Champion Giant Sequoia and Coast Redwood trees all propagated and grown in our Michigan greenhouses.
Archangel is honored to partner with the Presidio where we planted a grove of our ancient trees. Returning redwoods to the Presidio is a story about this effort.
Tomorrow, Archangel Ancient Tree Archive will plant 75 champion coastal redwood saplings at the Presidio, a national site in San Francisco, that have the potential to grow into the world’s largest trees.
